Cabaret Fundraiser

On the evening of January 26th, 2008, the Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger hosted its first Cabaret fundraising event at the UVM Royall Tyler Theatre! Young students from Bill Reed's Voice Studio lent their voices to support the important work we do to end hunger in Vermont. What could be better than children singing to help feed hungry children?
The evening included refreshments donated by area restaurants, a silent auction full of local goods and services, and musical performances by 15 of Vermont's finest budding stars.
Items for auction included:
- 4 Day Passes to the Sleepy Hollow Ski & Bike Center, offering miles of well-groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in Huntington, VT
- 2 Bash Badges from Smugglers' Notch Resort
- A 1-night stay with breakfast at the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa, Vermont's premiere resort offering a variety of spa treatments as well as access to some of the best skiing and riding in the east--a romantic getaway package just in time for Valentine's Day!
