Hunger and the Nutrition Safety Net in Chittenden County

Join the Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger for a workshop and discussion designed for staff and volunteers who assist low-income Chittenden County residents at schools, health centers, food shelves, community organizations, and state agencies.

This training includes an in-depth look at the reality of hunger in Vermont and its devastating effects, the high costs associated with development delays in children that are malnourished, and the myriad hunger solutions available through local and federal nutrition programs.

Fee: $10 (includes lunch)
