As Nutrition Education Coordinator at the Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, Rebecca O’Reilly coordinates the Campaign’s Cooking for Life classes. Rebecca works closely with Cooking for Life’s partner organization, University of Vermont’s Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program to develop and implement the program throughout Vermont.
Rebecca is an expert on the philosophy, curriculum, and results of this popular and very successful nutrition and cooking education program for low-income Vermonters. Her in-depth knowledge of nutritious, low-cost recipes and food practices, makes her a tremendous resource to the numerous community partners helping families to stretch food dollars.
Before joining the Campaign, Rebecca spent seven years coordinating and directing school-age programming for the Greater Burlington YMCA. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Science from Castleton State College.
