As the Out-of-School Time Nutrition Program & Policy Specialist at the Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, Emily Glover works extensively with policymakers at the state and federal level, schools, advocates, and community groups to develop and expand federally funded summer meal and afterschool programs for low-income children.
Emily is an expert on the state and federal administrative requirements of these programs and examples of exemplary programs serving children in communities throughout Vermont. She is able to answer in-depth questions about out-of-school time nutrition programs from journalists, advocates, and community groups.
Before joining the Campaign, Emily taught first grade at the Bristol Elementary School in Vermont. Emily received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Vermont.
